Using technology designed by PROTXX, we will develop and validate algorithms for evaluating clinical outcomes, initially focusing on patients with Multiple Sclerosis (MS). The project will later expand to other populations, such as those with Spinal Cord Injury, Concussion, and Stroke.
Step 3. Know the Ultimate Goal
The ultimate aim is to implement these technologies in Canadian rehabilitation hospitals, ensuring they are effective and easy to use for both patients and healthcare providers.
Step 4. Understand My Responsibilities
- Algorithm Development: Create algorithms to identify daily activities and balance for MS patients.
- Feedback-Based Technology: Develop technology that recommends behavior changes based on feedback from the sensor data.
- Validation in Real-World Settings: Validate the technology in real-world settings to ensure accuracy and usability.
- Prototype Finalization: Design and finalize a user-friendly prototype for easy adoption by patients and healthcare providers.
